‘the INDOORS KICKOFF’ GETS INDOOR SEASON UNDERWAY IN COLUMBUS, OHIO
ROSSBURG, OH (October 20) – Indoors go kart racing, under the direction of the Ohio Indoor Kart Series (OIKS) returns to Columbus, OH on Saturday – November 10. The action that day will be the first of five race dates on the 1/9 mile concrete oval constructed inside of the O’Neill Building on the grounds of the Ohio Expo Center.
The lightning-quick oval is known throughout the Midwest as one of the finest indoor tracks; thus attracting the best of the business when it comes to indoor kart racing. Recent renovations to the building by the Expo Center staff have upgraded the experience even further.
Known as ‘the Indoors Kickoff’, the November 10 event will feature competition in 17 different classes, with age variations from 4 – 70
Featured classes include Senior Medium ($500 to win), Senior Caged ($300 to win), Clone Heavy ($200 to win) and Kid Kart (5’ trophy). All other classes will offer the standard 80% of entry fee payback
An optional practice session ($10 per kart) will take place from 10:00 a.m. until Noon; followed by a mandatory driver meeting at 12:30. The Indoors Kickoff will then have one round of practice beginning at 1:00 p.m., followed immediately by two rounds of heat races, consolation races as needed and the main events

Additional race dates at the Ohio Expo Center include December 1, January 19 and the weekend of March 1 & 2.
